Regional Development Works: Kayah State CM inspected regional development works

The Kayah State Government is placing emphasis on implementing regional development projects. In this regard, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw, accompanied by members of State Government, inspected the construction of a Youth Centre, staff housing for the General Administration Department and a masonry drain being constructed as part of regional development efforts this morning.

First, the Chief Minister and party inspected the construction of the 120-foot by 40-foot, three-storey reinforced concrete (RC) Youth Centre. He gave necessary instructions and coordinated the required measures based on the reports presented by responsible officials on the progress of construction works.

Next, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of a three-storey staff housing building for the State General Administration Department, measuring 102 feet by 30 feet and comprising four units. He also inspected the construction of a masonry drain along No. 4 Road in Daw U-Khu ဒေါဥခူ Ward, Loikaw, aimed at improving drainage in the city. The drain measures 445 meters in length and 0.76 meter in width on one side. The Chief Minister gave necessary guidance and instructions regarding the works, it is reported.
