National Registration: Union Minister makes inspection in Taunggyi

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited Basic Education High School No. 1 in Taunggyi Township of Shan State on September 28  where he inspected and coordinated the needs for the issuance of National Registration Cards under the "Lamin Project" and UID smart cards via the e-ID system to students who have reached the age of 10.

Afterward, the Union Minister, the Chief Minister of Shan State, and responsible officials handed over the National Registration Cards and UID cards to the students. The Union Minister and officials presented financial assistance and food supplies to the township office staff. Similarly, they distributed nutritious snacks to the students.
