Boat Race Finals: Historic Phaundaw Oo Pagoda Festival boat races in Meiktila

The final races and prize-giving ceremony of the 143rd historic Phaundaw Oo Pagoda Festival boat races were held in Meiktila Township on September 27, with Mandalay Region Hluttaw Speaker U Aung Kyaw Moe attending and enjoying the event.

In the junior men’s final, Lue Khin Gyi Kyaw Zay Yar Hein team won against Hein Zay Yar Naing ဟိန်းဇေယျာနိုင် team. Zin Bo ဇင်ဘို team won the women’s final against Ma Ma Nay Hlaing Phyu team. In the senior men’s final, Zar Thi Thwe း team defeated Kan Gyi Maung team. Officials presented trophies, medals and cash prizes to the teams that won first, second and third places in the three categories.
