Oath-Taking Ceremony : Appointed personnel take their oath

An Oath-Taking Ceremony was held in conjunction with the receiving guidance from the President took place at the Presidential Guest House in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. President U Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony, and took a salute of the Guard of Honour at the dais, while honouring with 21-gun salute.

The President later inspected the Guard of Honour who later marched past the President. This was followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where the Chairman of Union Civil Service Board, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Deputy Ministers, Deputy Auditor-General, members of Union Civil Service Board, and members of Nay Pyi Taw Council took their oath.

President U Min Aung Hlaing later made a speech, saying that the new government will implement necessary policies and focus on national unity, peace, and development. He stressed that lack of unity has been a major cause of instability in Myanmar’s history and called for stronger ethnic unity and continued efforts under the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement.

He urged all to resolve differences through dialogue instead of violence. The President highlighted key priorities including economic growth, agriculture-based industries, MSME development, and increasing domestic production of crops such as rice and oilseeds.

He also emphasized infrastructure development, electricity supply, renewable energy, and transportation improvement. He called for better education and healthcare systems, youth development, and stronger rule of law. He also urged efforts to combat corruption and promote good governance.

Environmental protection, urban planning, and disaster prevention were also emphasized. In conclusion, the President called on to work together in unity to build a peaceful, modern, and developed democratic nation.
