Order No.25/2026 : Appointment of the Leading Bodies for SAZ Chairmen

President Office issued an Order No.25/2026 on April 10, regarding the appointment of the Chairmen of the Leading Bodies for Self-Administered Zones.

The appointments were made in line with Section 276(e) and (f) of the Constitution, Section 19(g) of the Union Government Law and Section 9(b) of the Self-Administered Division or Zone Leading Body Law, and with the proposal of the respective region and state Chief Ministers. U Hla Tun was appointed for Naga Self-Administered Zone, U Arker Lin for Danu Self-Administered Zone and U Khun Phoe Sein for Pa-O Self-Administered Zone. The order was signed by President U Min Aung Hlaing.
