Order No.11/2026: Appointment of Region/State Chief Ministers

President Office issued an Order No.11/2026 on April 10, regarding the appointment of Region/State Chief Ministers.

14 Chief Ministers, approved by the respective region and state hluttaws were appointed according to Section 261(c) of the Constitution, Section 6(a) of the Region/ State Government Law. According to the order, U Khet Htein Nan was appointed as the Chief Minister of Kachin State, U Ant Maw for Kayah State, U Saw Myint Oo for Kayin State, Dr Wong Hsung Thang for Chin State, U Ko Lay for Sagaing Region, U Zaw Naing Oo for Tanintharyi Region, U Myo Swe Win for Bago Region, U Tin Ko Ko for Magway Region, U Myo Aung for Mandalay Region, U Aung Win Than for Mon State, U Naing Oo for Rakhine State, U Aung Naing Thu for Yangon Region, U Sai Htein Soe for Shan State and U Aye Kyaw for Ayeyawady Region. The order was signed by President U Min Aung Hlaing.
