Statements of Congratulations: Congratulations to the President-elect

Following the election of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing as President of the Union by the Presidential Electoral College, which comprises all Pyidaungsu Hluttaw representatives, during the presidential election held on April 3, 2026, the Myanmar Farmers Development Party, the National Interest and Development Party, the Pa-O National Organization (PNO), and the Myanmar Writers' Association have issued statements expressing their special pride and joy.

In these statements, they expressed their heartfelt pride and joy that the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw has elected Senior General Min Aung Hlaing as the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They conveyed their full confidence that under the leadership of the President, the motherland will enjoy peace, prosperity, and modern development, and that the Union Government led by the President will successfully shoulder the interests of the country and the people. They also expressed wishes for the elected President, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, to be blessed with peace of mind and good health, and to be able to carry forward the nation's interests.
