Graduation and Taking Oath Ceremony: Deputy Township Judges On-Job Training Course No.34

The Graduation and Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Deputy Township Judges On-the-Job Training Course No. 34 was held at the Judicial College of the Supreme Court of the Union on Friday.

Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay attended the ceremony and delivered the opening speech. Outstanding trainees and the best cadet were recognized and awarded during the event.

Under Section 23, Sub-Section (c)(i) of the Union Judiciary Law, which provides that the Supreme Court of the Union shall arrange for new judges to take an oath or affirmation at the time of assignment, the recruited judicial officers took their oath in the presence of the Union Chief Justice and the Justices of the Supreme Court of the Union

. The training period lasted for three months, from 5th January to 3rd April, with the participation of 51 trainees.
