Cycling Race: Yangon hosts MTB Cycling Race from Zoo to Hlawga Park

A mountain bike (MTB) race for novice men and women was held in Yangon on Sunday, starting from the Yangon Zoo and finishing at Hlawga Nature Park.

The event was organized by Yangon Region Government, Forest Department and Sports and Physical Education Department. Chief Minister U Soe Thein attended the event and opened it. A total of 445 cyclists, including 428 men and 17 women, took part in the race. Winners and participants were awarded prizes and recognition after the event.
