Slight Earthquake: Magnitude 3.6 tremor strikes near Mawkmai

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded at 4:52 AM on Sunday. According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the epicenter of earthquake is inside Myanmar, about 30 miles south-southeast of Mawkmai, and about 73 miles south of Namsang seismological observatory. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of around 10 kilometers.
