Friendly Relations: Receiving the Ambassador of Brazil to Myanmar

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw received Mr. Gustavo Rocha de Menezes, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Myanmar at the in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matter pertaining to the acceleration of existing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Brazil, and matters of mutual interest including trade and investment.

Furthermore, the discussion focused on the enhancement of cooperation under the ASEAN-Brazil Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, the way forward for the promotion of cooperation between ASEAN and Brazil, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation based on the principles enshrined in the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
