









In honoring for the 81st Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, which falls on March 27, 2026, members of the Myanmar Police Force and staff from departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs collectively donated blood in the morning of March 23. The blood donation event was held simultaneously at (1000-bed) Naypyidaw People's Hospital in Zabu Thiri Township and (1000-bed) No. 2 Military Hospital in Zeyathiri Township.
At the blood donation event, a total of 216 members and staff from the departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs donated blood in honor. The blood donors were visited and encouraged by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ma-J Gen. Min Thu, Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Aye Tun, Chief of Myanmar Police Force Police Lt-Gen. Win Zaw Moe, responsible officials from Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health and hospital superintendents. They also provided nutritional supplements and tonics to the donors.
At the collective blood donation event held today in honor of the 81st Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, a total of 216 members and staff from departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs participated. Additionally, another 158 members and staff will continue to donate blood in honor on March 24 at the (1000-bed) Naypyidaw People's Hospital, bringing the total number of blood donors to 374, it’s reported.
