Meeting on Quick Win program: Rakhine State CM delivered the opening speech

A coordination meeting regarding the Quick Win program and the implementation of projects to be carried out with the allocated budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year of the Rakhine State Government Office was held at the meeting hall of the Rakhine State Government Office on November 19. Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, State Government members, and responsible officials from relevant departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Htein Lin stated that, in accordance with directives to utilize time and funds effectively for each Region and State and to implement Quick Win projects as rapidly as possible, the government is carrying out development tasks within the State.

While there are long-term planned projects being implemented, they are also striving to implement projects that directly benefit the public and yield visible results, depending on the prevailing situation. He mentioned that preparations are underway to hold the upcoming 51st Rakhine State Day ceremony without breaking tradition. For this, it will be necessary to swiftly implement Quick Win projects that directly benefit the masses in Sittwe, as well as projects requested by the local public.

Similarly, as the 200th anniversary of the founding of Sittwe will also be celebrated, it will be necessary to ensure Sittwe City is clean and beautiful. He instructed that the already formed project committees must carry out the Quick Win projects systematically, in accordance with financial rules and regulations.

Subsequently, State Government members explained the projects to be implemented under the Quick Win program in the offices of departments under the supervision of their respective ministries. The Acting Secretary of the Rakhine State Government and the Chairman of the Sittwe District Administrative Committee explained the sectors responsible for public works related to the State Government and the wards in downtown Sittwe.

It is reported that the State Chief Minister provided feedback on the presentations and delivered concluding remarks.
