Presenting CSCs and UID Cards: CSCs and UID Cards presented to students

Under the supervision of the Kayah State Government, the Kayah State Office of the Ministry of Immigration and Population held a ceremony to provide on-site National Registration Cards (NRCs) and UID cards under the "La Min" Project, as well as to present the completed cards to recipients was held Monday morning at the Pyinnya Yadana Hall of No. 1 Basic Education High School in Loikaw.

At the ceremony, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw delivered the opening address and presented the second round of financial support for the implementation of the "La Min" Project.

Following this, the Speaker of the Kayah State Hluttaw, the Commander of Regional Operations Command, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, and members of the State Government presented Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSCs) and UID cards to students aged 10 years and above. They also observed the on-site processing and issuance of CSCs and UID cards for eligible students.

In Kayah State, the issuance of Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSCs) and UID cards has been underway since April 2026 for citizens aged 18 and above who did not previously possess NRCs for various reasons, and since June 2026 for children who have reached the age of 10. As of today, a total of 2,169 people have received their CSCs and UID cards under the program.
