Jensen Huang receives honorary degree from HKUST

Jensen Huang, the Founder and CEO of Chipmaker Nvidia, was in town to receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Nvidia boasts a dominant position in the A.I. Chip Industry,commanding an estimated 85 percent of market share.

Upon receiving the degree, Huang proclaimed the dawn of the A.I. Era. In his speech, Huang said A.I. is ushering in a new wave of industrial revolution. Huang said he looks forward to Hong Kong’s latest development in the field of A.I. down the road.
