China launches Chuangxin 16 satellite

A Kuaizhou-1A rocket carrying Chuangxin 16(Innovation 16) satellite blasts off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, southwest China's Sichuan Province at 10:36 a.m. on Tuesday.

The satellite has successfully entered the desired orbit and will be used for scientific experiments and verification of new technologies. This mission is the 16th flight of the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket.
