Immigration and Population: Union Minister meets with officials in Mon State

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi held a meeting with concerned officials from his ministry in Mawlamyaing of Mon State.

In his address, the Union Minister said that using modern technology and equipment, efforts are being made to upgrade the management system to ensure the effective and speedy immigration of foreigners entering the country on various visas.

Citizenship registration records are being restored with technical equipment. He called on the officials to complete sending the household lists and national registration cards issuance records to the server in Nay Pyi Taw via online in a timely manner for the election.

He also stressed preparations for the 2024 census and urged the officials to cooperate and serve the duties.
