Education Sector: Magway Region CM addresses fresher welcome ceremony

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended the 2021-2022 academic year fresher welcome ceremony at the Agriculture Institute in Pwintbyu Township.

In his speech, the Chief Minister said Magway Region is one of the largest producers of edible oil crops based on agriculture.

The development of the agricultural sector is an important sector of the country and the development of agriculture institutes that produce agricultural professionals is a major task.

He also pledged to make efforts for students to learn in a safe environment. Also, principal of the Institute made a speech and a student expressed words of thanks.

The ceremony continued with providing 500,000 Kyats for the freshers and presenting awards and sports gear to outstanding students in the 2019-2020 academic year.
