COVID-19 Update: 15 new COVID-19 cases reported on June 3

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 15 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 5,634 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 10 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,370 with 19,434 deaths and 592,322 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:37pm CEST, 3 June 2022, there have been over 528 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.29 million deaths.
