Education Sector: Efforts for students in Bago Region

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the 32nd Fresher Welcome Ceremony for the 2022 academic year at the Agriculture Institute [Thayawaddy].

The ceremony was opened by the students with a song in honor of the Institute and the Chief Minister addressed the Ceremony. Also, concerned officials gave speeches and the students expressed words of thanks.

There, the Chief Minister also provided 5 million Kyats and sport gear for the Institute. Also, the Chief Minister and party visited the Basic Education High School in Thonse Township and the No.1 Basic Education High School in Thayawaddy Township.

There, he inspected the COVID-19 vaccination process for students aged between 5 and 12. The Chief Minister also provided nutritious snacks and refreshments to students and cash assistance to medical staff.

He called on concerned officials to provide more school tables, to keep the school environment clean and tidy and to improve the flow of water. A discussion was also made for a playground and generator.
