Illegal Trade: Illegal Motorbikes, Goods And Timber Seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 27th, 29th, 30th and 31st of May, unregistered motorbikes, illegal fuel oil, undeclared paper packs, undocumented animal foods and illegal timber in Pakokku Township, at the Mayanchaung Permanent Checkpoint, at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint and in Yedashe and Ottwin townships.

In total, illegal motorbikes, goods and timber worth over 46 million Kyats were seized on the 27th, 29th, 30th and 31st of May.Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
