Real-Time Audit Seminar: Union Auditor General attends seminar in Nay Pyi Taw

The Seminar on Real-Time Audit starting from the 2022- 2023 Financial Year was held at the Assembly Hall of the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

There, Union Auditor-General Dr. Kan Zaw stressed that the government is deeply implementing for stability, peacefulness, development of the State, socio-economic development, human resource development and extended investments and projects for education and health, and based on the domestic fund, departments and organizations implementing the projects have to conduct the Public Financial Management in the most effective ways.

He also said that the Real-Time Audit is to monitor and audit their performance effectively for the public interest; and Concurrent Control, Monitoring and Real-Time Audit are the most modernized and effective ways of Public Financial Management in the world today.

The Director-General of the Audit Department widely explained the purpose, benefits, and work plan of Real-Time Audit. Also, responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union answered the raised questions of the attendees and responsible senior officials of the Ministries and Organizations.
