Implementation For Peace: Peace Talks Team And New Mon State Party Meet

The Peace Talks Team of the government met the delegation led by Vice-Chairman Nai Aung Min of the New Mon State Party (NMSP) in Nay Pyi Taw, Tuesday.

The State Administration Council Member National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Chairman Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen YarPyae, in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe MyintTun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, NMSP Vice-Chairman Nai Aung Min, Joint General Secretary Nai Win Hla and Central Executive Committee Member NaiBanyar Lei.

In the talks, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen YarPyae and Vice-Chairman of NMSP Nai Aung Min delivered greeting speeches and the participants discussed peace and development related matters. After that, they adjourned the first-day meeting. The discussion will be continued on 25th May.
