Bolivia's iconic salt flats were the unique backdrop as 34 couples tied the knot in a mass wedding ceremony. The couples traveled to Incahuasi Island, southern Bolivia, to wed amidst spectacular views of the salt flats on Friday.

The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 sq km and holds around half the world's reserves of lithium. The couples received a red carpet welcome for the ceremony organized by Bolivia's Civic Registration service, at the country's best known tourist attraction.
