Fidan on Türkiye-Iraq relations

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Following the meeting, Fidan spoke to medias at the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, providing insights into the summit’s agenda and Türkiye-Iraq relations.

Fidan emphasized that the Iraqi Turkmen are an indispensable and integral part of Iraqi society, noting that they have consistently played a constructive role in the country's social fabric and political landscape. He also congratulated and met with representatives of the Iraqi Turkmen community, including key figures following cabinet developments.
