





Social Welfare Department under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, makes efforts to build the parental trust in their pre-primary schools. There are 34 pre-schools in Yangon region and children are happily attending at Basic Education Primary School No (1) Bahan.
Pre-primary schools have been reopened to develop the physical, intellectual and behavioral developments of pre-school children with 4 teaching methods and 11 subjects. According to the Headmistress, they are always striving to catch the parents’ trust on the pre-primary schools.
Lwin Lwin Nwe (Headmistress), Basic Education Pre-primary School No(1)Bahan, Social Welfare Department said "To prevent the delay of development for children, we have reopened it on 15th November 2021. According to children’s age and development, relevant teachers teach children the basics of poetry, songs, painting and handicrafts. Schools accepted to attend the children aged 3 to 5 years and also accept over 5 years old who have not yet reached KG class. We are working to ensure that children develop in all aspects. We believe that we can provide the best service and the school will be successful when schools earn the trust of the parents."
Mya Pwint Zun ( Teacher), Basic Education Pre-Primary School No.(1)Bahan, Social Welfare Department said "In our “Jasmine” class, we specialize in English language which teaches Letters and pictures for children. We train to enriching vocabulary, development of language skill and preparations for school. Our class has accepted 30 children currently."
The school provides standardized learning opportunities for children to improve their language skills. At present, school is raising more than 100 children aged 3 to 5 years.
