Comforting patients: VSG visits 1000-bed Defence Services General Hospital

SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win together with senior Tatmadaw officers encouraged officers, other ranks and families who are receiving medical treatment at 1000-bed Defence Services General Hospital in Mingaladon township of Yangon Region on Sunday.

On arrival at the hospital, the Vice Senior General and party were welcomed by the Medical Superintendent and officials. At the meeting hall of the hospital, the Medical Superintendent reported on administrative affairs of the hospital and medical treatments on which the Vice Senior General asked further information and coordinated essentials.

The Vice Senior General and party then comforted Tatmadaw officers, other ranks and families receiving medical treatment and asked about their diseases and provided food and aids. The Vice Senior General presented honoraria for the health staffs serving at the hospital through the Commandant of the hospital.
