Laws Amended: SAC Amended Code Of Civil Procedure And Interpretation Law

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar State Administration Council issued a State Administration Council Law 58/2021, Law Amending the Code of Civil Procedure on 11th October 2021.

The State Administration Council enacted this law under Section 419 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The law was signed by the Chairman State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. Similarly, the State Administration Council also issued the Interpretation Law State, State Administration Council Law 59/2021. This law shall take effect from 5 May 2021.

In the law, the word “the General Administration Department, the Ministry of Union Government Office” involved in the existing laws, bylaws, rules and regulations, notifications, statements, orders, directives and procedures shall be changed with the word “the General Administration Department, the Ministry of Home Affairs”, and the word “the General Administration Department, the Ministry of Union Government Office” with the word “the General Administration Department, the Ministry of Home Affairs”.

The word “the Ministry of Union Government Office” related to the General Administration Department involved in the existing laws, bylaws, rules and regulations, notifications, statements, orders, directives and procedures shall have been amended as the word “the Ministry of Home Affairs”.
