Covid-19 Update: 1,197 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On October 11

The Ministry of Health reported 1,197 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 16,471 lab specimens within 24 hours. 28 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,182 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

 Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 479,848 with 18,162 deaths and 432,457 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 43.79 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Islamic Republic of Iran, Argentina and Colombia according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 5:52 p.m. Central European Summer Time on October 11th, 2021, there have been over 237.38 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.84 million deaths, reported to WHO. The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
