COVID-19 Prevention: Sinopharm Vaccines Transported to Regions and States

COVID-19 vaccines are being transported to cities and townships of the regions and states for COVID-19 prevention and disease control.

On Sunday, from Yangon, Tatmadaw aircrafts transported 2,000 units of Sinopharm vaccines to Myitkyina, 3,600 units to Loikaw, 7,000 units to Kalay, 10,000 units to Dawei, 5,628 units to Kawthoung, 10,080 units to Myeik, 27,200 units to Sittwe, 18,000 units to Thandwe, 24,150 units to Lashio, 30,000 units to Bago and 36,000 units to Pyay.

It’s learnt that a single ampoule of these Sinopharm vaccines can be used for five people. Until the 9th of October 2021, over 4.1 million people have been fully vaccinated and over 5.7 million people have received the 1st dose of the vaccines, according to the Ministry of Health.
