MOH Announcement: Announcement On Processes Of Quarantine And Laboratory Tests

The Ministry of Health issued announcement on processes of quarantine and laboratory tests for recovery of COVID-19 confirmed patients on 28th September, 2021.

In the announcement, it’s said that according to the research findings of the World Health Organization and internationally recognized medical research institutions, those who suffered from COVID-19 have the antibody levels that respond to causing the outbreak of the disease again till a few months, and the disease cannot break out during such period.

As such, if those who enter international gates and land borders and travellers in regions and states can show evidence on the certificates issued by internationally recognized hospitals and the health departments or the certificates of discharge approved by the public hospitals under the Ministry of Health and COVID-19 treatment centres, they will be allowed for exemption for quarantine for travelling within 90 days starting from the approval for the disease and laboratory tests for the disease.

However, they have to strictly abide by the disciplines for prevention and control of COVID-19 issued by the Ministry of Health, if they suspect themselves of COVID-19 symptoms, they have to immediately contact nearby health units for receiving the laboratory test and follow the quarantine process in line with the work guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
