COVID-19 Update: 1,282 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on September 27

The Ministry of Health reported 1,282 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 17,725 lab specimens within 24 hours.56 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,866 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 459,436 with 17,583 deaths and 413,821 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 42.56 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Islamic Republic of Iran, Argentina and Colombia according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 6:19 p.m. Central European Summer Time on September 27, 2021, there have been over 231.70 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.74 million deaths, reported to WHO.The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
