COVID-19 Update: 1,534 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On September 26

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 1,534 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 18,436 patients within 24 hours. 62 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,922 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 458,154 with 17,527 deaths and 411,955 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention.
