Myanmar / Thailand: Commander-In-Chief Receives Commander-In-Chief Of Royal Thai Air Force

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Maanat Wongwat on Wednesday.

The meeting at the parlour of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw focused on a long history of good relations between Myanmar and Thailand and situations in which the good relations between the two armed forces contribute much towards the friendship between the two countries.

They also discussed greater cooperation between the two armed forces and among the ASEAN countries in HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response) processes, sharing of weather information, sending of trainees and exchange of goodwill visits, according to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
