Development Projects : Upgrading of Sports Ground and health care facility

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko inspected ongoing development projects on April 10. The Chief Minister visited Minbu District Sports Ground, where upgrading work is underway, with improving drainage systems and leveling the ground using heavy machinery.

The Chief Minister instructed to meet quality standards and to complete on time. The upgrade is funded by the government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, with over 206 million kyats allocated for drainage construction around the Sports Ground.

Next, he inspected the construction of a new 5-storey patient ward at the 500-bed Magway General Hospital. The project began in June 2025 and is being carried out by a local construction company. Currently, foundation work is nearly complete, and the remaining structure work is expected to complete by the end of April.
