Religious Festival: Maravijaya Buddha Image crowded with pilgrims

On the auspicious occasion of the Full Moon Day of Thadingyut (Abhidhamma Day), the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee has arranged free transportation service to ensure smooth travel and allow pilgrims within the Union Territory of Nay Pyi Taw to pay homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image in peace of mind.

During the Thadingyut public holidays, the provision of free transport using electric vehicles (EVs) and modern bus lines enables pilgrims, government employees, and their families wishing to pay homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image and other pagodas and stupas within the Buddha Park to travel conveniently and peacefully at low cost.
