Meeting with Officials : Thanintharyi Region Chief Minister meets with officials

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Zaw Naing Oo met with departmental officials in Dawei on April 10. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of cooperation between government departments to support regional development.

He highlighted that Tanintharyi has strong potential in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, tourism, mining, and energy. He urged officials to prioritize public needs, provide fast and transparent services, listen to people’s difficulties, and avoid corruption.

He also emphasized promoting local economy and preserving traditional culture. He added that peace and stability are essential for development, and encouraged officials to openly discuss challenges and work together to improve living standards in the region. The meeting was attended by senior government officials and department heads.
