On September 1, Guoxin-1, a 100,000-metric ton smart aquaculture vessel, delivered the first batch of 65 tons of large yellow croakers since its operation in the Yellow Sea.

The ship has adopted a mobile farming mode and carried out cruising aquaculture operations in the deep and high seas of China to find water temperature and environment suitable for the growth of large yellow croakers in different seasons, while preventing the fish from natural risks such as typhoons.

Since the vessel’s delivery and operation, more than three million fish fries have been released into the aquaculture tanks, and the fishing ship has travel more than 3,000 nautical miles. The yellow croakers in the aquaculture tanks have quickly gotten adapted to the marine environment. This is a way to realize a sustainable supply of high-value fish all year round.
