Work Undertakings: Sanitation, greening environ and health care services

Chin State Government organized a collective cleaning work in the compound of No.3 Basic Education High School in Hakha on 28th May.

Chief Minister U Ngun San Aung oversaw the cleaning and sanitation works being carried out by the Tatmadawmen from the local battalions, and staff from the General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force, and staff from the education department and development affairs committee.

The Chief Minister later attended a tree planting ceremony in the compound of Hakha University. The ceremony was organized by the Chin State Forestry Department as an activity for greening environ in pre-monsoon period. The Chief Minister and the Deputy Commander of Northwest Command planted the saplings together with the attendees.

A total of 1,000 saplings were planted during the ceremony. The Chief Minister and party later visited Hakha People’s Hospital and provided cash assistance for the patients. The hospital is providing heath care services to around 100 patients at the Out-patient Department daily and over 60 inpatients are being hospitalized.
