





Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, accompanied by state government members and departmental officials, on Saturday morning, inspected the arrival of construction materials transported from Yangon for regional development projects.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure systematic documentation, prevent damage, maintain workplace safety and coordinate effectively with relevant departments. The MV Shwe Sin La Min, currently docked at the Myanma Port Authority’s Phaung Tawgyi Jetty, delivered over 1,600 tons of construction materials and basic foodstuff. At the multi-purpose terminal, they observed the unloading process of rice and basic food items from the MV Aung Yadana One, which carried 650 tons of supplies from Yangon.
The Chief Minister emphasized proper handling to avoid losses and prevent misdistribution. They continued their inspections at the Khaing Thazin Nursery Garden, where officials presented updates on seedling cultivation and growth conditions.
The Chief Minister reviewed sapling planting activities at both the nursery and the Forest Department compound, as well as medicinal plant cultivation in the herbal garden intended for public distribution. The officials also reported on cultivation success and future plans. Based on the briefings, the Chief Minister coordinated necessary support measures and assessed ongoing efforts to ensure the successful growth of seedlings and medicinal plants.
