Work Coordination Meeting: Forest Dept. Held Regions And States Coordination Meeting

The Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi delivered an opening remark at the Regions and States work coordination meeting of the Forest Department, Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the union minister said that in line with the guideline of the head of state, to conserve the forests, implement to grow the small scale and large scale forest plantations, villages’ plantation of firewood, establish KaLaw Township as pine city, greening the road sides of Heho-Baw Sai and Pindaya-Aung Ban roads, implement Pyin Oo Lwin to be the Cherry City, to implement second five years of Myanmar Forest Restoration Project to achieve the success, carry out to protect the watershed areas, continue the efforts for the establishment of mangrove forest from small scale to the massive scale in the coastal regions.

Next, the union minister coordinated necessaries on the clarifications of the directors from the regions and states, it’s reported.
