







The training completion ceremony for Batch (3) of the e-Government Human Resource Quality Enhancement Training, organized by the Sagaing Region e-Government System Implementation Committee, was held on the morning of November 24 at the Convocation Hall of the University of Computer Studies (Monywa). The Committee Patron, Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, attended the ceremony and delivered the opening address.
First, the Chief Minister stated that the Region Government aims to enhance the ICT capabilities of its staff and is therefore continuously organizing and conducting such e-Government training courses. He mentioned that the knowledge gained from this training by the trainees will not only improve their respective departments' operational efficiency but also make public service delivery faster, more accurate, and more effective. He added that as technology changes and improves daily, it is necessary to build upon the strong foundations acquired in this training and to continue learning.
Following this, the Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw presented certificate of honor to the Rector of the University of Computer Studies (Monywa), Dr. Soe Soe Khaing. The Chief Minister also presented honorary certificates and cash awards to the trainees who achieved first, second, and third place in the training.
Subsequently, the Rector of the University of Computer Studies (Monywa) explained about the opening of the e-Government Human Resource Quality Enhancement Training.
Furthermore, the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs presented certificates of honor to one instructor on behalf of the instructors and assistant instructors. The Region Minister for Transport also presented training completion certificates to the trainees, giving them to one trainee on their behalf.
Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister and responsible officials attended a ceremony for providing health check-ups and distributing basic food commodities to retired staff within the region. They warmly greeted and conversed with retired staff from various departments and, together with the responsible officials, personally distributed nutritious supplementary food (eggs) to 1,300 retired staff.
Later, the Region Chief Minister and responsible officials observed the screening and treatment services being provided for diabetes, hypertension, arthritis/neurological disorders, heart disease, and asthma/cough to the retired staff by the Monywa District Public Health Department inside the hall. Regarding the treatment efforts, the Chief Minister coordinated and facilitated necessary support with the responsible officials.
