Study Tour in Bangalore: MOIP Union Minister arrives back home

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, along with delegation members, visited the UIDAI Technology Center in Bangalore of India on July 28th.

The officials explained the work undertaken at the center by the Aadhaar system. Later, the Union Minister and party observed the 24-hour monitoring service on Aadhaar at the Network Operation Center.

They then provided further explanations on the work undertakings at the meeting hall. In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party visited the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) in the Electronic City.

Officials explained the salient points of IIIT-B, cooperation with Myanmar’s Information and Technological University, networking process on Modular Open Source Identity Platform with international countries, and assistance to be able to provide for Myanmar’s e-ID system through cooperation between the two governments.

On the 29th, the Union Minister and delegation members left for Yangon via Chennai International Airport.
