Activities in Shan State: CM makes inspections and holds meeting

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung inspected a piggery in WanPon Village in Namsan Township, heard report on breeding process and fulfilled the requirements. It’s reported the piggery distributes its products to Mongshu, Tangyan, Mongton and Mongsat townships.

The Chief Minister also inspected a poultry farm and a perennial crop (macadamia) model research plot in HtinShu Ward, heard report and gave necessary instructions. Also, the Chief Minister held a meeting with veterans in Namsan Township, expressed words of thanks for their cooperation on security matters and provided foodstuffs.

The Chief Minister also met with trainees from the Aviation Youth Basic Course (1/2024) and provided cash aid for the trainees. Also, in the meeting with the District- and Township-level governmental officials and town elders, the Chief Minister heard report on agriculture, livestock and education sectors in Namsan Township and called for efforts to accelerate the agriculture and livestock sector and the MSME. After the meeting, the Chief Minister provided foodstuffs for the governmental departments and visited the MSME booths.
