State Hluttaw Session: Mon State Hluttaw held 6th day of 1st regular session

The sixth day of the First Regular Session of the Third Mon State Hluttaw was held at the meeting hall of the Mon State Hluttaw Office in Mawlamyine in the morning of April 7.

During the session, the state Hluttaw's decision was sought, and official approval was granted for the list of military Hluttaw representatives submitted by the Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services to be assigned the duties of Security and Border Affairs. The lists of individuals to be appointed as State Ministers, the State Advocate General, and the State Auditor General, as submitted by the Mon State Chief Minister-elect.

Subsequently, the state hluttaw also reviewed and approved the nomination for the Chief Justice of the Mon State High Court, submitted by the President-elect. The list of Judges for the Mon State High Court, submitted by the Mon State Chief Minister-elect.

The sixth day of the First Regular Session of the Third Mon State Hluttaw was then adjourned. The seventh day of the session will resume on April 9 at 10:00 AM, it’s reported.
