Solar-Powered Water Pumping:YGN CM attended the opening ceremony

A ceremony to inaugurate the solar-powered Ah Htet Su (Myitkyo) river water pumping and village electrification project, held in commemoration of the 81st Armed Forces Day, took place on March 24th at Myitkyo Village, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region. The event was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, who delivered the opening speech.

Following this, Director U Kyaw Naing Oo from Yangon Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department explained the operational aspects of the project.

Subsequently, a local farmer expressed gratitude on behalf of the farmers. An official from the APQ Company then provided information related to the Ah Htet Su (Myitkyo) river pumping project, which was received by the Director of the Yangon Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department. The Chief Minister then cordially greeted the attendees.

Afterwards, the inauguration of the solar-powered Ah Htet Su (Myitkyo) river pumping and village electrification project was officiated by the Yangon Region Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister for Natural Resources, the Director of the Yangon Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department, and relevant officials, who cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Following this, the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials inspected the solar-powered Ah Htet Su (Myitkyo) river pumping and village electrification project. The Chief Minister then presented cash of honor to the entertainment troupe, it’s reported.
