Social Welfare Facilities: MOSWRR UM inspected social welfare facilities

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win, accompanied by officials, visited the Mawlamyine Youth Training School under the Department of Social Welfare on March 18th.

During the visit, the Union Minister delivered an encouraging speech aimed at promoting good moral character among the youth. Then, he toured the dining hall, observed youth sports activities, and inspected hairdressing courses. At the briefing hall, the school principal explained the school's requirements, and the Union Minister provided necessary instructions regarding matters to be fulfilled.

Following this, the Union Minister arrived at Pre-Primary School No. (2), where he distributed nutritious snacks to preschool children and enjoyed their poetry recitations. He then proceeded to the Child Care Center to inspect the health conditions and care provided for infants, issuing necessary directives.

Subsequently, the Union Minister visited Pre-Primary School No. (1), where he instructed on measures to enhance children's intellectual development, emphasizing the need for cooperation between parents and teachers in this regard. He also inspected the school's physical infrastructure.

Later, the Union Minister cordially met with officers and staff from the Department of Social Welfare and the Disaster Management Department at the Mon State Department of Social Welfare office, providing necessary guidance and directives.
