Shanghai Automobile Overseas Market Sails to Europe

The first batch of self-owned brand MG MULAN under Shanghai-based SAIC Motor was officially sent to Europe. This new model specially tailored for overseas markets reflects the influence of Chinese manufacturing. MG Mulan is SAIC's first electric model developed for overseas markets.
There were about 200 MG MULANs parked at Haitong Wharf, which are relatively large in scale. At the same time, each car was marked with the upcoming destination, such as Belgium. Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed the export market of Chinese vehicles has outperformed imports in the past five years. With more new energy cars developed, a steady increase in exported vehicles is expected.
