Seeing off Luyechun students: MDY CM saw off Luyechun students

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, along with region government ministers and officials, saw off theLuyechun students who headed to Bagan, Ngwe Saung and Chaung ThaLuyechuncamps this morningfrom Lulyechon Camp (Mandalay) (No.-16, Basic Education High School) in ChanayethazanTownship in the morning on 24th April.

These outstanding students are the ones who were deservedly selected as Lu Yay Chun for 2024 from Mandalay, Kachin State and various townships in the region. They were accompanied byteachers and left from Mandalay to Nay Pyi Taw.

The students will base in Nay Pyi Taw Camp (YwatawLuyechun Camp).While arriving in Nay Pyi Taw, they will visit together with the outstanding students from various regions and states and teachers to famous Pagodas and galleries in Nay Pyi Taw and will continue to carry out the activities of the people, it has been reported.

The award presenting ceremony of the " Happily celebrated Mann Thingyan” photo contest marking the 2024 Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan Festival was held at the City Hall of the office of Mandalay City Development Committee in Chan Aye Thar Zan Township, Mandalay with the attendance of the Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Region Advocate General, region ministers, photographers, judges and guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted that the contest is held annually to keep the precious moments of the Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan festival as per year and for the emergence of outstanding photographers. The experts and judges chose the best shots which match with the title of the contest from their professional perspectives to present awards. He added that the science of photography is related to art and the photographs must be left as a record of a system of times.

Then, the secretary of the Mandalay City Development Committee presented cash awards to the judges. Then, the Chief Minister, Region Advocate General, region ministers, and officials presented cash awards and honorary certificates to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and consolation prize winners respectively. Then, the Chief Minister and party enjoyed the winning photographs and contestant photographs.
