Electoral Affairs: Practical casting of votes through MEVM in Bago Region

Residents in Bago Region are participating in the practical casting of votes through the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) which began on the 25th of April.
On the 6th of May, 676 residents from Pyi Township and Paukkaung Township joined this practical casting of votes. Among the participants were staff from the General Administrative Department and the Ministry of Education, representatives from political parties and eligible voters.
Officials from the Region, District, and Township Election Sub-Commissions explained the process of casting votes through the MEVM. The program will continue in the remaining townships in Bago Region.
